Chris is a serial investor entrepreneur, corporate restructuring strategist and practitioner. He specialises in capital market and fund raising. He founded CoMetro Capital & Private Equity since 2013 with a few like minded investment entrepreneur and has become very active in the group since 2016 and lead them as its CEO and Director since 2017. He is currently the lead advisor for several local companies embarking on IPO listing in Bursa Malaysia and Australia Stock Exchange. He sits in several private limited companies board of directors and is very passionate on corporate restructuring and capital raising. Chris is also the partner to Max Capital Holdings Ltd, a global venture and investment company where he co-founded the Global Investment Community (GIC). He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration (Distinction)) from Ottawa University, USA; Higher National Diploma in Electrical Electronic Engineering (Distinction), Wigan & Leigh College, UK; Certified e-Business Technologies, University of California Berkeley; Certificate in Financial Accounting and Certificate in Leading with Finance from Harvard Business School, USA. Currently Chris is reading laws at Advanced Tertiary College College in Kuala Lumpur.

ASSIGNMENTS

He is currently the President of Malaysia Digital Chamber of Commerce. Prior to this he was the elected Vice President of Global Compact Network Malaysia, a local chapter of UN Global Compact and formerly the Secretary General and council member for ASEAN Retail-Chains & Franchise Federation from 2009 to 2016 and the Charter President 2011 for the Junior Chamber International Entrepreneur Metropolitan Kuala Lumpur Chapter.

PREVIOUS PROJECTS

His previous project includes Bank Bumiputra Commerce Malaysia transformation to CIMB Bank and assist to setup the first branch in Star Hill, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur where he developed the business plan for the transformation of the bank’s branch as the consultant. He was also the consultant to Citibank Malaysia, assisting the bank to setup the Anti-Money Laundering Department and the Consultant to HSBC Bank Malaysia assisting the bank to setup the customer call centre in Cyberjaya Malaysia. He was the Higher Education Programme Director with Informatics College a listed education institution in Singapore Stock Exchange. Formerly he tutored for Ottawa University, USA; Salem International University, USA and Sabah Skills Institute, Malaysia.
